Entries and Draw
Pre entry/pre pay is via cognito forms.
To ensure you are in the draw and will have multiple horse separated as much as possible you need to Pre enter and pay your fees before the deadline date and time. You must enter with a horse's name..do not enter horse 1 or horse 2. We need to have names for tracking. If something happens and you need to substitute a horse, please contact me prior to the start of the race if at all possible. I will not trade horses in the draw. You get to decide who runs in what order but you cannot switch horse positions once the draw has been posted. As per ABRA rules, if you run a horse out position you will be given a no time.
Form links will be posted usually the Sunday before jackpot day on our Facebook group page. Look for the event tab as well as in the main feed. Fees and form links will close 6pm the night before the jackpot unless otherwise posted.
WE WILL NOT FILL TURN OUT SPOTS WITH LATE ENTRIES. Planning ahead helps us and I feel very strongly that those who enter last minute should not get to run ahead of those who plan ahead. Sorry not sorry that is my feeling on it and I will not change. We appreciate that not everyone knows ahead of time but it is what it is and being late does not come with priviledges.
There is no trading of spots. If you have an issue arise and you need accommodations, please contact me and I will do what I can to help you out.
If I get really good at this website deal, I will try to have the link posted each time on the Events page.
Entry Fees & Payout
Pre entries must be paid via Etransfer to letsraceproductions@gmail.com
Day of entries may be paid via cadh(please have exact amounts) or Etransfer. Entry will not be recorded until payment is received
Payout will be done via Etransfer after we get home and computer results are verified against hand recorded ones. Payout will be done within 24 hours.
D's/Splits/Rakes
Open 4D 7/10 split
Youth 3D 7/10 split
PW 3D 5.0 split
We rake every 5 on paper. There is a full arena rake after every 25 warm up.
Timeline/Order of Run

10:00-10:30 Open riding no charge, no barrel work
10:30-12:40 Grouped time Onlies No Peewees
12:45-1:00 Exhibition Runs
1:00-1:10 PW warmup with barrels up
1:15 PW Jackpot both runs
1:30 Start time for Jackpot 1 Youth and Open run together results are split.
All jackpots will have indoor warm ups(approx 10 min) in groups of 25. With full arena drag after each warm up
Group 1 will be right after the PW are done
Jackpot 2 will start 15 mins after end of Jackpot 1. A small warm up for jackpot 2 horses will be right after last horse runs in first jackpot
The arena is closed right after the end of Jackpot 2.
Set Ups/Special Requests
Special requests must be made prior to the posting of the draw.
Requests are not promised but we will do our best. Please understand that it adds considerable time and effort on our part to do this for you!
Multiple horses will be spread apart before any requests.
it is expected that those who need special consideration often will go the extra mile to help move barrels whenever possible😉
if you are coming from another event and we know ahead of time we can roll you down to the bottom in order to make it or we can run you in jackpot 2 and roll your time back to jackpot 1 BUT multiple horses may not be split apart.
Grouped Time Onlies
5 horses for 10 minutes for $10 per horse
Prebook 1 per horse entered but you can ride any horse, extras if available sold at the gate have cash in hand
Arena is open for all 5 at once, you can wait in line or you can ride around the outside but keep your head up.
No turning barrel more than twice, be respectful of the time of others. If you need to make a run let the person behind you know. Otherwise next person should be going when first one is at the second barrel. Watch for those who need to bring horse straight home rather than pulling off to the side.
Communicate with those in your group so they know what you are doing and need. Be aware of those who may be new and need a little encouragement to jump in line.
Keep the alley way clear! Give people room to use the wings and bring a horse through if they need to.
There will be a designated Lefty groups.
Turn Outs & Refunds
Turn outs received prior to 1:00 will receive a full refund after payout is done. Must be received by text to 403-360-4601.
If you complete time onlies and then turn out of the jackpot, you will not get a refund unless there is extenuating circumstances that can be verfied by management.
Missed Time onlies are not refunded We do our best to move people and get you in, but we expect you to do your best to be ready on time.
No shows and late notifications are not refunded because jackpot payout is affected once the jackpot starts. We appreciate being told though and reserve the right to refund and adjust payout at our discretion due to circumstances.
Weather Cancellations
Due to the large geographic area we draw from we will cancel based on our local weather. Please call before you haul or check the Facebook page. This is one of the most stressful parts of hosting...dealing with weather and when to make the call.
it is hard to find make up dates so if we have cancellations chances are there will not be make up dates.
If we cancel due to weather, all refunds will be given that day as long as there are no internet issues due to the storm.
Dress Code
Finals will be the only race that is Full Western Attire.
Please use discretion in how you dress...no one needs to see it all hanging and flopping!
The Halloween Jackpot will have prizes for those who want to have fun and dress up!
PeeWees must have a helmet on and properly done up when mounted.
